Special Cargo
Special Cargo is considered a special group of goods to be transported under certain requirements such as packing, documentation, prior space reserves, etc., and special management in its handling. Among the best-known groups are: living animals, dangerous goods, perishable products, human rests; incubated eggs, blood, written press, weapons, human organs for transplant and others.
LIVING ANIMALS
Acceptance for transporting animals is conditioned by regulations contained in the IATA Handbook about Living Animals and internal rules of the carrier. Acceptance of this kind of transport required coordination in advance.
Documents required
- Certificate of consignor (provided by TAME)
- Rabies vaccination certificate (dogs and cats)
- For international flights, rabies vaccination certificate must be valid for 6 months at least and must be legalized by the consulate of the destination country
- Authorization for air mobilization issued by the Ministerio de Agricultura y Ganadería (SESA)
Packing
The packaging must be clean and impervious, spills- and leaks-proof, so a safe handling during transport can be kept. The container floor must be fitted with a layer allowing absorption of animal excrements. The use of straw as absorbent material should be avoided, given that many countries prohibit the entry of straw as a vector for pests in agriculture.
Animal Health Status and Conditions
Animals to be transported must not show signs of illness. It is normally prohibited the transport of animals in late gestation.

NON-INCINERATED HUMAN REST
Documents Required
- Copy of the death certificate
- Copy of the corpse formolization certificate
- Copy of the health certificate which guarantee that the cause of death was not an infectious disease
Domestic flights packaging
Coffin sealed with at least 6 handles for handling.
International flights packaging
Lead or zinc coffin duly soldered, and contained in a wooden coffin and this in turn in a third wood or pressed cardboard box, which must have sufficient handles.
OTHER
Arrangements and reservations must be done in advance at TAME CARGO office. Human rests will be received at least an hour and a half before the published departure itinerary required for its transportation.
Only transportation for direct routes and those form airport to airport are offered.
