TAME - Ecuadorian Airlines - Travel to Ecuador and Galapagos

Please notice the following free baggage limits:

Carry-on baggage 7 kg. Size 24 x 16 x 10 inches
Regular baggage 20kg. Excess fee for each kilo: 1% of the regular y fare plus tax.

Tips

Identify baggage with name and direction. Withdraw the obsolete baggage tickets.
Take sure to close well your baggage.
When checking your baggage verify the ticket number accord with the baggage ticket.
Do not transport fragile objects in your baggage.
Any irregularity with your baggage must be reported with the airline baggage agent in the place of baggage reception.
The airline won't be responsible anymore once you are out of the arrival area.
Do not transport inflammable goods, explosives, aerosols, sprays or restricted articles in your baggage.
Do not accept to transport other people's belongings. Do not overload your baggage.
When registering your baggage, check its ticket shows the final destination.
Do not pack valuables or important documents (money, checks, jewels, electronic goods, cameras, negotiable documents, among others).
The airline has no responsibility in case of damage, subtraction or loss of valuables.

WITHIN ECUADOR:

Ecuadorian and foreign passengers: a valid passport or identity card.

TRAVELING TO GALAPAGOS ISLANDS

Additional to a valid passport or identity card all passengers must present the Control Visitor Card (TCT). See below procedure to obtain TCT.

TRAVELING TO CALI:

ECUADORIAN PASSENGERS

Adults: a valid passport or identity card, voting certificate, military card (for men), Andean Tourism form provided by TAME.

Minors: a valid passport or identity card, parental permission to leave the country issued by a court of childhood or notary, Andean tourism form provided
by TAME.

ALIEN RESIDENTS IN ECUADOR

Adults: a valid passport or identity card, Andean tourism form provided by TAME.

Minors: a valid passport and identity card, parental permission to leave the country issued by a court of childhood or notary, Andean tourism form provided
by TAME.

Adults and minors: a valid passport, Andean tourism form provided by TAME,
round trip ticket or ticket to exit from Colombia.

TRAVELING FROM CALI:

ECUADORIAN PASSENGERS

Adults and minors: a valid passport or identity card, Andean tourism form provided by TAME, customs declaration form.

COLOMBIAN PASSENGERS:

Adults: a valid passport or identity card, valid judicial past certificate, Andean tourism form provided by TAME, customs declaration form.

Minors: a valid passport or identity card, parental permission to leave the country, Andean tourist form provided by TAME, customs declarations form.

As a requirement by the local government, passengers who travel to Galapagos must register their personal information to obtain their control visitor card. This can be easily done through:

1. Click on the option "Registry for your Control Visitor Card" located on the upper right corner of the home page.

2. Choose between Turistas (tourist) and Agencia (agency) options and fill out the information required.

3. Once you complete this procedure print out this form that will include a bar code and present it at the Ingala counter at the airport.

4. Next, passengers must first go through the SICGAL luggage control area where you will receive your TCT card before proceeding to check in at the airlines counter. Without the TCT the airline can not proceed to check in any passenger.

Passengers in transit must present their form at the Ingala counter upon their arrival to Quito or Guayaquil in order to obtain their TCT card before they board their flight to Galápagos.
Starting February, 25th 2008, all passengers traveling to Galapagos must buy the Control Visitor card paying a USD 10 dollars fee.
